
Richard Maclean Elected 2012 Board Chair for the Florida Venture Forum January 11, 2012
TAMPA, FL -- The Florida Venture Forum, the oldest, largest and most prestigious statewide support group for venture capitalists and entrepreneurs, today announced that Richard Maclean of Frontier Capital, Charlotte, North Carolina has been elected 2012 Board Chair of the Florida Venture Forum's Board of Directors.
Mr. Maclean is a founding Partner of Frontier Capital, a growth equity firm focused exclusively on business services since 1999. He has more than 20 years of experience advising and investing in growth companies and currently serves on the boards of Celergo, Healthx, Perceptis and Inclinix. Mr. Maclean graduated from the College of Charleston and received his MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
